Procurement Assistant

About the role

The Procurement Assistant supports the timely and cost‑effective acquisition of parts and materials needed for operations and projects. This role works closely with the inventory and project teams to ensure that all supplies are available when required.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory, procurement, issuance, and monitoring of parts and materials.
• Assist in quantity take‑offs, cost estimates, material planning, and budget monitoring.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and support material planning activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP/SAP or other inventory systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, parts inventory, procurement, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of quantity take‑offs, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and material planning.
• Understanding of inventory control and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with good communication and coordination skills.
