PMO Manager – New Product Introduction

About the role

The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager will lead the centralized function that defines, maintains and enforces standards for New Product Introduction (NPI) execution across the factory. The role ensures projects are planned, executed and delivered in line with corporate goals, providing governance, visibility and control.

Key responsibilities

• Align factory NPI procedures with global and business‑unit product development processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Prioritise and align projects with business strategy, providing portfolio visibility for executive decision‑making.
• Track project health (scope, schedule, cost, risks, benefits) and produce dashboards and status reports for leadership.
• Coordinate shared resources, balance demand versus capacity and minimise over‑allocation.
• Establish risk identification and mitigation standards, escalating major issues as needed.
• Deliver project‑management training, coach MSR leads and promote continuous‑improvement best practices.
• Own or support PM tools such as MS Project, Jira and Smartsheet, ensuring data integrity and historical records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years experience in electronics manufacturing or EMS environment.
• At least 3 years in NPI, production or manufacturing‑engineering leadership.
• Strong knowledge of NPI processes, manufacturing transfer and ramp‑up management.
• Deep understanding of project‑management principles (scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality).
• Project‑management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) is a plus.
