Plant Accountant

About the role

The Plant Accountant will partner with the Plant Controller to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance management for our Batangas manufacturing facility. You will ensure that plant financial data is reliable, consistent, and readily available for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Plant Controller in budget and forecast preparation and plant performance reporting.
• Lead continuous‑process improvement initiatives to generate cost savings and enhance service‑to‑cost ratios.
• Measure and monitor end‑to‑end process performance using relevant KPIs.
• Conduct periodic process reviews and implement documented improvements.
• Perform inventory and fixed‑asset control checks, including cost, CAPEX, and variance analysis.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Recommend new policies, procedures, and revisions to strengthen financial controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA license preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience, including costing, inventory analysis, and project management.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail‑oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with JD Edwards Accounting ERP system (preferred).
