Pharmacy Category Lead – Supplements

About the role

The Pharmacy Category Lead – Supplements drives performance, growth, and profitability of the supplements portfolio. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, the role combines strategic planning, product assortment, supplier management, pricing, and promotional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category plans to meet sales, margin, and market‑share targets.
• Analyse market trends, category performance and customer insights to uncover growth opportunities.
• Manage product assortment, ensuring the right mix of SKUs aligned with demand.
• Oversee product lifecycle from sourcing to discontinuation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on new product development and launches.
• Ensure regulatory and quality compliance for all products.
• Negotiate pricing, trade terms and promotional support with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines and product availability.
• Plan and execute promotions, campaigns and in‑store/online activations.
• Work with supply‑chain teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with a current PRC registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related healthcare field.
• 3‑4 years of experience in category, product or brand management within pharmaceutical, healthcare or FMCG environments.
• Strong knowledge of vitamins, dietary supplements and OTC products, including FDA compliance in the Philippines.
• Experience in retail pharmacy, drugstore chains or healthcare distribution is an advantage.
