PeopleSoft System Administrator – Server Migration & Multi‑Tenant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft System Administrator to lead server migration projects and manage multi‑tenant database environments across Production, UAT, System Test and Development instances. The role will ensure high availability, optimal performance and seamless integration of PeopleSoft and non‑PeopleSoft platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain databases, application, web and batch servers for PeopleSoft and other applications.
• Manage multiple application instances (Production, UAT, System Test, Development) and support their lifecycle.
• Participate in architecture and infrastructure planning, providing design input and hardware/software specifications.
• Install, configure and upgrade software required for supported platforms.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Design secure integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems using REST, SOAP or middleware.
• Conduct impact analysis and oversee deployment of patches, fixes and upgrades.
• Execute ITIL processes including Incident, Change, Problem, Event, Release and Configuration Management.
• Support IT and business teams with code migrations, script executions and online configuration tasks.
• Handle escalations, provide timely resolutions and contribute to KPI definition and reporting.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams and checklists.
• Develop automation tools such as scripts, bots and spreadsheets to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a PeopleSoft System Administrator.
• Proven experience with server migration projects and multi‑tenant database administration.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture (WebLogic, Tuxedo, PIA) and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or other RDBMS supporting multi‑tenancy.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows server environments.
