PeopleSoft System Administrator – Server Migration & Multi‑Tenant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft System Administrator to lead server migration projects and manage multi‑tenant database environments. The role ensures high availability and optimal performance across Production, UAT, System Test, and Development environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer databases, application, web, and batch servers for PeopleSoft and non‑PeopleSoft platforms.
• Manage multiple application instances (Production, UAT, System Test, Development).
• Participate in architecture planning, provide design input, and recommend hardware/software specifications.
• Install, configure, and upgrade software; monitor performance and mitigate bottlenecks.
• Design secure integrations between PeopleSoft and other systems using REST/SOAP or middleware.
• Execute patch, fix, and upgrade deployments; follow ITIL processes for incident, change, problem, and release management.
• Support IT and business teams with code migrations, script executions, and online configuration tasks.
• Create and maintain SOPs, policies, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Develop automation tools (scripts, bots, spreadsheets) to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on PeopleSoft System Administration experience.
• Proven experience with server migration projects and multi‑tenant database administration.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture (WebLogic, Tuxedo, PIA) and lifecycle management.

Required skills

• PeopleSoft administration (PeopleTools, PUM patching).
• Database platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, or other RDBMS supporting multi‑tenancy.
• Unix/Linux and Windows server environments.
• Scripting languages: Shell, PowerShell, Python.
• ITIL framework implementation.
• Integration technologies: REST, SOAP, middleware.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) – preferred.
• Containerization and orchestration concepts – preferred.
