About the role
Deltek is seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist to join the Global Sales support team. The role will focus on supporting clients using the ComputerEase product, handling tax reconciliation, filings and client inquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile client payroll taxes, make corrections, and balance liabilities to payments for new and existing clients.
- Prepare and file amended tax returns and handle tax jurisdiction correspondence.
- Process daily tax work for active and lost clients, including electronic return/W-2 files for monthly, quarterly and annual filings.
- Maintain positive relationships with tax authorities and provide timely updates to clients.
- Generate status reports for leadership during quarter-end and year-end cycles.
- Identify recurring issues, document trends and recommend process improvements.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience with payroll tax.
- Demonstrated expertise in Federal, State and Local tax regulations.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly.
Required skills
- ComputerEase tax software.
