Payments Officer (Night Shift)

About the role
We are looking for a Payments Officer to join our team on the night shift. The role provides centralised support for the movement of money on behalf of our clients, helping to prevent fraud and coordinating with internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Process and reconcile client payments during night hours.
- Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and support fraud‑prevention initiatives.
- Liaise with internal finance, compliance and operations teams to ensure smooth payment flows.
- Maintain accurate records of all payment activities and produce nightly reports.
- Escalate issues promptly to senior staff when needed.
Required profile
- Experience in payment processing or related finance functions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night hours.
- Good communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
