Part-Time Social Media Manager (Podcast & True Crime)

About the role

We are looking for a creative Part‑Time Social Media Manager to grow the online presence of a leading investigative storytelling and true‑crime podcast. You will plan, produce, and publish engaging social content that amplifies each episode and drives audience conversation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a proactive social media content calendar aligned with upcoming episodes and promotional campaigns.
• Create quote graphics, short‑form videos, audiograms, and other assets using provided audio and video files.
• Write compelling captions that provide context, encourage discussion, and maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Edit and produce social videos from podcast recordings.
• Monitor comments, tags, and mentions; respond to audience interactions and amplify guest‑generated content.
• Coordinate with podcast guests to share promotional assets and encourage social participation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
• Experience managing social accounts for podcasts, media brands, or content‑driven businesses.
• Strong interest in true‑crime storytelling and long‑form audio content.

Required skills

• Instagram (and major social platforms) knowledge.
• Short‑form video creation (reels, clips).
• Video editing.
• Audiogram production.

What we offer

• Part‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 9 AM‑1 PM ET (20 hours/week).
• Competitive compensation of $600 per week.
