Oracle DevOps Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle DevOps Architect to design, automate, and manage end‑to‑end Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions. You will work closely with development and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement OCI environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible and OCI Resource Manager.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or OCI DevOps.
• Manage database lifecycle (patching, cloning, backup) for Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Fusion Applications.
• Establish DevSecOps practices, configure IAM policies, compartments, VCNs, security lists and network security groups.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and optimise compute, storage and database workloads.
• Facilitate technical workshops and translate complex designs into actionable infrastructure specifications.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of hands‑on DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
• At least three end‑to‑end OCI implementation projects.
• Experience with Agile delivery and Scrum methodology.
• Willingness to work on shifting schedules as needed.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• OCI Architect certification is a plus.

• Automation & configuration management: VBA, OCI IAM policies, Security Lists, Network Security Groups.
• Database expertise: Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP), Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Fusion Applications.
