Operations Project Manager

About the role

The Operations Project Manager (OPM) leads the cross‑functional effort to bring new Dyson products from detailed design to mass production. Working closely with design, manufacturing, and supply‑chain teams, the OPM ensures that each product is launched on time, within cost, and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate globally distributed specialists across manufacturing and supply‑chain functions.
• Orchestrate the transition from design development to full‑scale production.
• Collaborate with the Design Manager to align product definition with manufacturing feasibility.
• Lead on‑site problem‑solving, efficiency improvements, and quality‑control activities in factory environments.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and specifications, escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Demonstrated tenacity, organization, motivation, responsibility, and influence.
• Excellent communication skills, both upward to management and across the organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential problems.
• Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment, providing credibility with technical teams.
