Operations and Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are a growing boat charter company based in Italy seeking a proactive Remote Operations & Marketing Assistant. Working 15 hours per week, you will support daily operations and help execute light marketing activities for our fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming client inquiries via email and booking platforms, responding with templates, AI tools, or guidance from ownership.
• Update the booking portal, verify availability, boat specifications, and pricing.
• Coordinate with tourism agencies, partners, and freelancers to facilitate collaborations and referrals.
• Research competitors, pricing trends, vendors, and service providers to inform operational strategies.
• Maintain company Instagram and Facebook accounts, schedule and publish posts, and create basic visuals.
• Assist with email marketing, setting up newsletters using owner‑provided content.
• Serve as the central point of coordination among owners, freelancers, and partners, ensuring clear documentation of tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative, operations, or virtual assistant roles.
• Experience in tourism, hospitality, or travel‑related industries.
• Strong written English; Italian is a plus.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
