Onboarding Accounting Manager (Remote)

About the role

Keystone Bookkeepers is seeking a Remote Onboarding Accounting Manager to lead the onboarding experience for new short‑term rental (STR) clients and new team members. You will ensure clean, accurate books and a fully configured software environment while developing a high‑performing onboarding team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage onboarding team members, assigning clients and tasks to build technical skills and confidence.
• Conduct structured training sessions, walkthroughs, and live demonstrations of systems and software.
• Review and approve work before client delivery to maintain accuracy and consistency with Keystone standards.
• Partner with leadership and recruitment to assess new hires and determine readiness for production.
• Oversee all client onboarding activities, managing schedules, capacity planning, and timelines to meet service‑level expectations.
• Deliver financial reports, owner statements, and participate in key client onboarding meetings.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects such as system implementations and PMS conversions.
• Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.

Required profile

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (ProAdvisor certification preferred).
