Odoo Developer – Hybrid (Australia)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Developer to join our industrial technology team. You will work on Odoo 19 Enterprise hosted on Odoo.sh, customizing core apps and building new modules to support complex quoting, projects, inventory, service, and accounting workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo 19 modules using Python and the Odoo ORM.
• Create and extend views, menus, actions, and QWeb reports with XML and Odoo templating.
• Configure and customise core applications such as Sales, CRM, Inventory, Projects, Accounting, and HR.
• Implement server‑side business rules, computed fields, constraints, and scheduled actions.
• Develop and consume REST/JSON APIs to integrate Odoo with external systems (e.g., payment gateways, shipping, BI, IoT).
• Write efficient PostgreSQL queries, handle data migration, import/export, and data cleaning.
• Use Git with feature branching, conduct code reviews, and manage CI/CD pipelines on Odoo.sh.
• Write unit and integration tests, monitor performance, and optimise bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with business analysts and key users to translate requirements into technical specifications and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong Python programming skills with a focus on clean, modular code.
• Ability to understand and model complex business processes.
• Good analytical mindset and attention to data quality.
