Ocean Freight Executive - Import & Export

About the role

We are looking for an Ocean Freight Executive – Import & Export to join EFL Global’s Philippines office in Pasay City. The role will coordinate end‑to‑end ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely bookings, accurate documentation and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean freight import and export shipments from booking to delivery.
• Prepare shipping documents, including Bills of Lading and e‑Manifests.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with customs and carrier requirements.
• Update shipment records in CargoWise and maintain operational documentation.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues.
• Support customs clearance, invoicing, and billing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of ocean freight, shipping documentation and customs procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CargoWise (advantage).
