Ocean Allocation Strategy Specialist

About the role

Nestlé Business Solutions Manila is seeking an Ocean Allocation Strategy Specialist to oversee ocean shipment processes and ensure smooth delivery operations for Nestlé markets. The role involves managing volume submissions, coordinating with carriers, and driving performance against service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise ocean shipment execution, managing volume submissions and allocation variations based on forecasts.
• Guide the use of Shipments Management Systems to enhance visibility and collaboration with customers and suppliers.
• Consolidate volumes for annual tender submissions and perform health checks using the Ocean platform.
• Communicate revised volumes and tender outcomes to markets, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate carrier onboarding for new contracts, negotiate lane nominations, and monitor allocation performance.
• Identify additional volume needs outside regular contracts and raise requests accordingly.
• Support continuous improvement projects and operational reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines, or import/export operations.
• Experience in physical logistics and supply‑chain project management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
