Multilingual AML/KYC Associate

About the role

The Multilingual AML/KYC Associate will support PwC’s advisory team by processing client KYC profiles in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves researching public sources, screening for sanctions or politically exposed persons, and ensuring timely case completion.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research using publicly available resources to gather client information.
• Screen entities for adverse news, sanctions, and politically exposed persons.
• Prepare and process KYC profiles according to client policies and procedures.
• Prioritise cases based on team leader guidance, rework items, and KYC expiry dates.
• Maintain documentation and evidence records for audit purposes.
• Initiate and follow up on Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes, monitoring due dates.
• Apply rework items flagged by quality control and participate in daily team huddles.
• Escalate operational, system, or policy issues promptly.
• Collaborate with global teams to meet compliance and regulatory standards.
• Manage ad‑hoc tasks to support project delivery.

Required profile

• College degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accountancy; CPA preferred.
• Proficiency in Japanese and/or Chinese is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and excellent communication.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Resilient, motivated, and focused on meeting quality and delivery targets.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup and report to the Makati office.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
