Mobile Software Engineer I

About the role

The IT Software Engineer I – Mobile will support the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications that deliver reliable and user‑friendly experiences. This junior position focuses on learning platform standards for Android, iOS, or cross‑platform frameworks while contributing to feature coding, bug fixing, and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop assigned mobile screens, UI components, or small features following team standards and design mockups.
• Implement UI elements according to platform guidelines and ensure compatibility across OS versions and device sizes.
• Collaborate with designers to clarify visual and functional requirements.
• Assist in fixing bugs, performing simple enhancements, and supporting routine mobile application maintenance.
• Participate in basic stages of the software development lifecycle and adhere to best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (bootcamp completion is a plus).
• Basic understanding of mobile application architecture, UI layout concepts, and adaptive design.
• Familiarity with at least one mobile language or framework at a beginner level.
• Basic knowledge of backend concepts such as APIs and databases.
• Experience using Git or similar version‑control tools.
• Awareness of software lifecycle methodologies (SDLC, Agile) and QA processes.
