Mobile Developer (iOS/Android) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a talented Mobile Developer to build and evolve the native iOS and Android applications that power BJAK’s insurance and financial products. This fully remote position will have you collaborating with a global engineering team to deliver high‑performance, user‑centric mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship high‑quality mobile applications for iOS or Android.
• Create intuitive experiences across insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and broader financial services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure applications remain stable, scalable, and reliable.
• Continuously improve performance metrics such as crash rates, loading speed, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
• Leverage analytics and user feedback to refine product quality.
• Build AI‑assisted mobile features that add meaningful value for users.
• Participate in code reviews, uphold engineering standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• Strong experience building production apps on iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
• Solid understanding of modern mobile architecture patterns and native platform best practices.
• Experience with SwiftUI/UIKit or Jetpack Compose/Android SDK.
• Knowledge of mobile UX, accessibility, and user‑centered design.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
• High ownership, fast execution, and strong focus on product quality.
