Mobile Application Developer

About the role

Troka Group Inc. is seeking a proactive Mobile Application Developer to join its fintech team in Makati. You will work on‑site with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build and scale a secure, high‑performance digital payment app for iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React Native applications for iOS and Android, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
• Manage app releases, updates, and deployments to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Implement fintech features such as digital payments, QR‑code scanning, biometric authentication, and OTP/MFA flows.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third‑party payment/banking services.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and QA to deliver intuitive mobile experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement of engineering standards.
• Contribute to architectural and tooling decisions as the product scales.

Required profile

• Proven experience building production mobile apps with React Native or a similar framework.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern React patterns (hooks, context, functional components).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API integration and asynchronous data handling.
• Familiarity with mobile security fundamentals, secure storage, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
• Comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional team.
• Experience in fintech, digital wallet, or payment applications is preferred.
