About the role
We are looking for a proactive Mid-level DevOps Engineer to join our Manila team. The successful candidate will work independently, become a subject-matter expert, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to deliver reliable, high-performance applications.
Key responsibilities
- Participate actively in team discussions and provide technical solutions to work-related problems.
- Gather requirements from various stakeholders and translate them into clear technical specifications.
- Implement best-practice DevOps processes to improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Design, build, test, and debug applications to ensure quality and functionality.
- Maintain and support existing applications, handling incidents and continuous improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance development workflows.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of hands-on DevOps experience.
- Ability to work independently and become a subject-matter expert in assigned areas.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience working in an agile, cross-functional environment.
Required skills
- Expert proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Unix Shell scripting and Python for automation.
- Container orchestration with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
- Infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bamboo.
- Configuration management with Ansible.
- Monitoring and observability tools including Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, New Relic.
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and related services (AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeCommit, Azure DevOps).
- Version control and artifact repositories (Git, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube).
- Atlassian suite: Jira (Software, Service Management, Align, Migration, Administration), Confluence.
