Member of Technical Staff - Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff specialized in Legal Research to join a global software development leader. The position is fully remote and focuses on analysing complex legal and regulatory frameworks to guide product development and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, case law, and policy documents to support product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks or tools that automate parts of the legal research workflow.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into technology solutions.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on current and future products.
• Produce clear technical documentation and guidelines that translate legal requirements into actionable product specifications.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Proven experience in legal research, regulatory analysis, and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to convert legal concepts into technical requirements.

• Understanding of regulatory analysis and compliance frameworks.
