Mechanical Facilities Engineer

About the role

San Miguel Properties, Inc. is looking for a licensed Mechanical Engineer to manage the mechanical systems of a mixed‑use development that includes a shopping mall and a BPO facility. The role ensures reliable operation of all building equipment in a 24/7 environment, supporting tenant satisfaction and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operation and preventive maintenance of HVAC, generators, UPS, elevators, fire protection, and sewage treatment plant.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor utilities consumption and drive energy‑efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for repairs and projects.
• Support tenant fit‑out, move‑in, and continuous uptime requirements for BPO operations.
• Lead troubleshooting, emergency response, and documentation for audits and inspections.
• Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets (CAPEX and OPEX).

Required profile

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• 3–5 years of facilities‑management experience, preferably in malls, commercial buildings, or BPO environments; fresh graduates may also apply.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations.
• Readiness to serve as Pollution Control Officer or Safety Officer when designated.
