Mechanical Engineer – Fire Suppression

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer specialized in fire suppression systems to join our engineering team. The role involves designing, estimating and supporting the implementation of sprinkler, FM‑200 and other fire protection solutions while ensuring full compliance with relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop fire suppression systems, including sprinkler networks and clean‑agent (FM‑200) installations.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, material take‑offs and hydraulic calculations for each project.
• Verify that all designs meet NFPA standards and the Philippine Fire Code.
• Provide technical assistance during site installation, testing and final inspection.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid Mechanical Engineer license (PRC).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical engineering or fire‑suppression system design.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design.
• Experience with estimation tools/software for cost and material calculations.
• Ability to perform hydraulic computations and prepare technical documentation.
• Effective project coordination and documentation skills.
