Mechanical Engineer – Fire Suppression

About the role
The Mechanical Engineer – Fire Suppression will design and develop fire protection systems such as sprinklers and FM‑200 installations. The role involves preparing cost estimates, material take‑offs and hydraulic calculations while ensuring full compliance with NFPA standards and the Philippine Fire Code.
Key responsibilities
- Design and formulate fire suppression systems, including sprinkler networks and clean‑agent solutions.
- Prepare cost estimates, material take‑offs and perform hydraulic computations.
- Verify that designs meet NFPA standards and the Philippine Fire Code.
- Provide technical support during site implementation, inspections and commissioning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical or fire‑suppression systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire safety codes.
Required skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with estimation tools/software.
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and prepare technical documentation.
