Master Teacher – Multi‑Discipline

About the role

MFI Polytechnic Institute is seeking a Master Teacher who can deliver instruction across multiple technical disciplines and ensure continuity of learning when regular instructors are unavailable. The role also involves mentoring faculty and supporting accreditation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned lecture and laboratory sessions and act as a reserve instructor for Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, RAC, Automotive, IT, and Visual Graphic Design programs.
• Enforce laboratory safety, manage equipment SOPs, and oversee consumable inventories.
• Calibrate assessments, maintain compliant gradebooks, and provide evidence for accreditation.
• Mentor faculty through observations, lesson studies, peer reviews, and coaching.
• Support implementation of teaching standards and LDS/LCDS templates.
• Prepare accreditation artifacts (WTR, portfolios, evidence matrices) and manage document control.
• Track student outcomes such as pass rates, certifications, OJT placement, and employability.
• Engage industry partners to keep curricula current and align OJT opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, RAC, Automotive, IT, Visual Graphic Design).
• TESDA NC II/III/IV certification in at least one discipline.
• Trainer’s Methodology Level I (TM I); TM II preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching or training experience in TVET or higher education, with lab and assessment expertise.
• Familiarity with TESDA documentation (TR, CBLM, CCA, WTR).
