Marketing Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive to join the communications team at Shangri‑La Mactan, Cebu. You will support the Director of Communications in shaping the resort’s brand image and promoting its luxury offerings to both local and international audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, directing, implementing, controlling, coordinating and participating in all communications activities.
• Promote and maintain effective communications to build and preserve the prestigious image of the resort.
• Compile and maintain a comprehensive media‑contact database, including birthdays, preferences and publication anniversaries.
• Write press releases and photo releases for both international and local media to support image‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Pride in being a hotelier and passion for interacting with guests and customers.
• Self‑starter attitude combined with strong teamwork skills.
• Fluent communication in English and the local language.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a willingness to tackle new challenges.
