Marketing Assistant – Corporate & Commercial Banking

About the role

The Marketing Assistant will support the Relationship Manager in driving new business and managing existing accounts within the Corporate and Commercial Banking Group. This role blends marketing activities with front‑office banking operations to help grow loan portfolios and deliver tailored financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Relationship Manager in generating loan portfolio revenue and meeting agreed targets.
• Acquire, build and maintain relationships with new and existing corporate clients.
• Prepare and present innovative financial solutions that address customer needs.
• Process daily banking transactions such as loan bookings, roll‑overs, payments, trust receipt liquidations, and letters of credit.
• Act as liaison between customers and internal operating units for credit‑related transactions.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Monitor account performance and prepare management and MIS reports.
• Collect maturing principal and interest on loans and trust receipts promptly.

Required profile

• Graduate of any business‑related discipline.
• 1‑2 years experience as a Marketing Assistant in the banking sector, preferably commercial banking.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and customer‑service orientation.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work under tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
