Manufacturing Technician III – Equipment Maintenance

About the role

As a Technician III in Manufacturing, you will ensure Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) compliance for Head Gimbal Assembly (HGA) production. You will conduct audits, certify equipment, perform inspections, and maintain ESD control systems to support product quality and manufacturing reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic ESD compliance and verification checks in HGA production areas.
• Set up and verify ESD protection measures according to established procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ESD control equipment, grounding devices, ionizers, and testing tools.
• Inspect, test, and document the performance of workstations and monitoring devices.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, maintenance activities, and compliance reports.
• Identify ESD‑related issues, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance ESD compliance and product quality.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanical, Computer, Industrial, Electrical Technology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with electrical wiring and measuring equipment.
• Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) principles and industry standards.
• Ability to conduct ESD compliance audits, inspections, and verification checks.
• Proficiency with ESD control equipment, grounding devices, ionizers, and testing instruments.
• Skills in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
