About the role

The Mandarin Instructor will join FIRST College in Santo Tomas to design and deliver comprehensive Mandarin language courses for corporate clients. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills tailored to learner needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials customized to client requirements.
• Assess learner progress through exams and assignments, providing constructive feedback.
• Utilize educational technology and digital tools to enhance language learning.
• Incorporate industry and workplace contexts into lessons when appropriate.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Mandarin with ability to teach all language components.
• Demonstrated teaching or training experience, preferably in language instruction or technical‑vocational settings.
• Effective classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation focused on learner outcomes.
• Clear communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Interest in integrating industry contexts into language education.
