Manager, Primary Intelligence

About the role

IQVIA, a global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to the life sciences industry, is hiring a Manager, Primary Intelligence in Makati City. The role turns big data into insights and evidence-based consulting for healthcare clients, working closely with analysts and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Review and manage analysis of client requirements and problems, and proposal development
• Build a deep understanding of client commercial operations and business challenges, and deliver evidence-based consulting to healthcare clients
• Develop new offerings and design and run custom analytic methodologies for complex client challenges
• Provide methodology and analytic consultation to practice leaders, principals and solution sales teams during engagements
• Perform quantitative or qualitative analyses to identify issues and develop solutions
• Guide and mentor analysts and consultants on presentation design and structure
• Build awareness of IMS technology solutions and their use in client scenarios
• Deliver client engagements that build knowledge of research methodologies and the pharmaceutical market
• Attend, support and drive client meetings

Required profile

• At least 7 years of market research experience (pharmaceutical and consumer health preferred)
• A good network with interview subjects such as physicians, pharmacists and MOH officers is an advantage
• Ability to think creatively and solve uncommon problems
• Previous healthcare industry experience in qualitative and quantitative project management is advantageous

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in MS Office
• Written and spoken English is a must
• Resourcefulness in contracting fieldwork agencies and freelancers to manage fieldwork loads
