Manager, Contract Billing Team (APAC)

About the role

SolarWinds is seeking a Manager to lead its Contract Billing Team for the APAC region. The role ensures billing readiness and purchase‑order collection for multi‑year software subscription contracts, focusing on Year 2 and Year 3 renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Contract Representatives.
• Set performance goals, service‑level standards, and conduct regular reviews.
• Own end‑to‑end Year 2/3 billing readiness and on‑time billing performance.
• Monitor pipeline health, PO collection status, and readiness metrics.
• Identify and mitigate revenue risks before billing cycles.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex customer issues, contract discrepancies, and cross‑functional blockers.
• Partner with Sales, Renewals, Finance, Order Management, and Systems teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Analyze billing delays, PO gaps, and contract errors to drive process improvements.
• Define and document SOPs, support automation, and enhance Salesforce and ERP tools.
• Maintain high data accuracy in Salesforce contracts and billing opportunities.
• Produce operational reporting on readiness, risk, and team performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and developing a customer‑facing operations team.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to monitor metrics and mitigate risks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and escalation handling skills.
• Ability to drive process optimization and document standard procedures.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data integrity and compliance.
