Manager - AM

About the role

We are seeking a Manager – AM to join PwC’s Tax Services team in Makati. In this role you will advise clients on local and international tax matters, support them through compliance, dispute resolution and strategic tax planning, and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagements covering international tax, mergers & acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients’ business objectives while mitigating risk.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities and support dispute resolution processes.
• Provide guidance on tax accounting, reporting and compliance requirements.
• Coach junior team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring delivery standards.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in accounting, finance, law or a related field.
• Significant experience in tax consulting, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build consensus among stakeholders.
• Commitment to ethical standards and PwC’s professional values.
