Maintenance Technician – Facilities Management

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of small to medium‑sized buildings and industrial equipment in Cebu City. You will work within the Engineering and Technical Services team, ensuring that all building systems operate safely and efficiently. This full‑time, onsite position offers the chance to develop hands‑on experience in preventive maintenance and repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose potential problems, and execute corrective actions.
• Assist with the installation, modification, and commissioning of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, track progress, and ensure timely completion.
• Support energy management initiatives by monitoring system efficiency.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; 1‑2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lb or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Clear communication skills for straightforward information exchange.
• Strong organizational mindset with an inquisitive approach.
