Machinist – CNC & Precision Equipment Operator

About the role

Moog is seeking a skilled Machinist to join its performance‑driven team in Baguio City. You will operate a range of precision equipment, ensuring high‑quality output while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, drills, EDM machines and honing equipment.
• Perform fit‑and‑lap operations and other precision machining tasks.
• Execute operator‑level functions, monitor machine performance, and adjust parameters as needed.
• Inspect finished parts thoroughly to verify compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Required profile

• Completed at least the 3rd year of an engineering program plus a general machine shop course, OR an engineering graduate with 2 years of machining experience, OR a graduate in Mechanical/Industrial Technology with relevant coursework, OR a high‑school graduate with a machine shop course and 2 years of machining experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with metrology tools and measurement techniques.
• Understanding of Lean Management, problem‑solving, continuous improvement and a zero‑defect mindset supporting Moog’s quality system.
