Machine Operator – Generator Operations

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Machine Operator to manage the operation of our power generators. The successful candidate will be responsible for starting, stopping, and continuously monitoring generator performance to ensure uninterrupted power supply. The role also includes routine inspections and adherence to safety standards while the equipment is in use.

Key responsibilities

• Start, stop, and monitor generator operations.
• Inspect the genset before and after each use.
• Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, and battery levels.
• Monitor voltage, frequency, load, oil pressure, and engine temperature.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as changing oil and filters.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or electrical issues.
• Keep accurate records of operating hours, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed during operation.
• Report major equipment problems to the maintenance team or supervisor.
