M&A Attorney – Remote Contract Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join a leading technology and internet company on a contract basis. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere while providing high‑level legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and related corporate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and stock purchase agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on target entities and identify legal risks.
• Advise on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters specific to M&A.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Maintain transaction documentation that meets legal standards and mitigates liabilities.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a state bar with at least 3 years of M&A experience.
• Proven ability to analyze complex legal documents and spot critical issues.
