Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for preparing and processing all PEZA and Customs documentation required for export shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The role works closely with planning, production, customer service, freight forwarders and other stakeholders to guarantee timely and efficient movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer shipment plans and coordinate export shipments to meet delivery schedules and compliance requirements.
• Perform data screening and validation for direct‑to‑customer shipments in line with trade regulations.
• Prepare export documents such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Gate Passes, GSP Certificates and other PEZA/Customs forms.
• Support loading activities by conducting PLID scanning and verifying shipment accuracy.
• Book shipments with freight forwarders, provide necessary documents, and ensure timely pickup of finished goods.
• Maintain accurate export shipment data in the Oracle Export System and generate pre‑alerts and notifications.
• Monitor truck and container movements, coordinate with trucking providers, and update logistics and finance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security protocols and health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify data accurately.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with multiple internal and external teams.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and export documentation requirements.
• Ability to manage shipment schedules and resolve export‑related issues promptly.
