Logistics Officer – Airfreight (Time‑Critical Shipments)

About the role

Join OBP as a Logistics Officer focused on airfreight, handling time‑critical shipments and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth operations from request to delivery while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and handle customer requests, advising on weather, geopolitical, trade‑compliance and other restrictions.
• Identify suitable solutions (White/Orange/Purple) and follow client‑specific SOPs.
• Represent the client to carriers and the FXL network, negotiate with suppliers and validate service quotes.
• Create and manage files in the F.A.S.T system, give instructions to Back Officers and maintain constant communication.
• Process national and international shipments, track AOGs in real‑time, and follow up on loading, pickup and delivery confirmations.
• Control administrative documents, update IT tools, manage dispute cases and supervise Back Officers.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of logistics experience with strong exposure to international operations across multiple transport modes.
• Expert knowledge of international air transport regulations, Incoterms, customs rules and compliance requirements.
• Proven managerial and coordination skills for leading front‑line AOG operations.
• High stress resistance, ability to make effective decisions in escalated, time‑sensitive situations.
• Business‑level English proficiency (spoken, written, reading) and excellent communication skills.
• Availability for 24/7/365 shift‑based operations.
