Logistics Officer – Airfreight

About the role

Join OBP as a Logistics Officer specializing in airfreight and become the go‑to expert for time‑critical shipments. Based onsite in Alabang, you will support customers, coordinate operations, and ensure every delivery counts while enjoying a competitive signing bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, advise on restrictions (weather, geopolitical, trade compliance) and propose suitable solutions.
• Represent clients to carriers and the FXL network, negotiate with suppliers, and validate service quotes.
• Create and manage shipment files in the F.A.S.T system, give instructions to Back Officers, and maintain real‑time communication.
• Track national and international shipments, follow up on loading, pickup and delivery confirmations, and control all administrative transport documents.
• Update dedicated IT tools, manage dispute cases, and supervise Back Officer activities.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of logistics experience with strong exposure to international air freight operations.
• Expert knowledge of air transport regulations, Incoterms, customs rules and compliance requirements.
• Proven managerial and coordination abilities, able to lead front‑line staff under high‑stress, time‑sensitive conditions.
• Business‑level English proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, rigor, and adherence to procedures, quality, safety and hygiene standards.
• Availability for 24/7/365 shift‑based operations, including public holidays.
