Logistics Manager (Manufacturing & Supply Chain)

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations for a leading chemical manufacturing and supply chain solutions company in Taguig City. The role focuses on efficient transportation, warehousing and distribution of materials, ensuring cost‑effective and timely delivery while supporting overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee daily logistics activities including transportation planning, delivery scheduling, dispatch and distribution.
• Manage logistics personnel, drivers and third‑party logistics providers.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, Finance and other departments to support inventory movement.
• Build and maintain relationships with freight providers and service contractors.
• Monitor performance metrics, costs and service levels, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and documentation requirements.
• Prepare logistics reports, track KPIs and provide updates to management.
• Conduct site visits to warehouses, project sites and company locations to resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing or supply chain management, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, warehouse operations, fleet management and third‑party logistics coordination.
• Proven ability to lead logistics teams and manage external providers.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.
