Legal Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Legal Manager to join its Philippine office in Makati. Reporting to the Head of Legal for Southeast Asia, you will provide strategic legal and regulatory guidance across the company’s renewable energy operations, ensuring compliant and risk‑aware decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial and project agreements, including service, equipment, supply, O&M, EPC, financing, land lease and right‑of‑way contracts.
• Coordinate corporate secretarial matters, review minutes of board, management and shareholder meetings, and oversee related documentation.
• Provide ongoing legal, regulatory and corporate advice to senior management and decision‑making bodies.
• Prepare and negotiate financing documentation such as loan facility agreements, mortgages, pledges and other security instruments, while liaising with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Support tender processes, energy agreements, corporate governance and M&A activities, and manage dispute resolution when required.

Required profile

• Law degree with a strong background in corporate, commercial and energy law.
• Proven experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably within the Philippines.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex financing and M&A transactions.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work with cross‑functional teams and external advisors.
