Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal advice and support across our business divisions. The role focuses on regulatory and compliance matters, privacy programs, and the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Group General Counsel to deliver legal guidance to all group divisions.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and data processing agreements, emphasizing risk mitigation.
• Assist in preparing tender responses, advising on legal and contractual aspects, drafting legal departures, and ensuring compliance with standard service contract requirements.
• Develop contract precedents, review checklists, and support stakeholders in managing service contracts.
• Provide ad‑hoc regulatory and compliance advice to management and keep stakeholders updated on legal changes.
• Contribute to the company’s compliance framework by creating checklists, bulletins, information sheets, and training content, and support the Group Compliance Manager on initiatives.
• Perform any other functions necessary to ensure the company meets its legal and statutory obligations.

Required profile

• Licensed Lawyer in the Philippines.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup, primarily at Global One, Eastwood, Quezon City, and other Philippine sites.
