Legal Associate

About the role

The Legal Associate will provide comprehensive legal support to ensure the organization operates within applicable laws and mitigates legal risks. Working closely with management and external counsel, the role involves drafting documents, advising on corporate, labor and commercial matters, and assisting in dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and revise contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice to management on corporate, labor and commercial issues.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
• Coordinate with external counsel as needed.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings or negotiations when required.
• Assist in dispute resolution and settlement processes.
• Maintain legal records and documentation.
• Support HR on labor‑related concerns and employee disciplinary cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB or JD).
• 1–2 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of corporate, labor and commercial law.
• Excellent drafting and communication abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with high integrity handling confidential information.
