Learning and Development Partner

About the role

OpsWerks is seeking a proactive Learning and Development Partner to join its People Operations and Development (POD) team. You will design, implement, and scale learning initiatives that close capability gaps, foster continuous learning, and support the company’s strategic objectives across its Philippine sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to identify learning priorities.
• Design and develop engaging learning content and materials.
• Deliver virtual and in‑person programs, onboarding sessions, and workshops.
• Customize learning programs for different audiences, functions, and job levels.
• Collaborate with People Business Partners, Team Leads, and Business Managers to align learning with performance goals.
• Participate in talent reviews and development planning.
• Collect feedback, measure effectiveness, and track ROI of learning initiatives.
• Report LMS metrics and program insights to leadership.
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and communication for learning sessions.
• Support onboarding and leadership development initiatives.
• Promote learning campaigns, knowledge‑sharing events, and peer‑led sessions.
• Stay current with L&D trends and recommend innovative approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, facilitation, or training design.
• Experience delivering programs for adult learners; exposure to leadership and technical capability training is a plus.
• Strong understanding of learning design models such as ADDIE, Agile, or Kirkpatrick.
• Effective presentation, facilitation, and coaching abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Canva.
• Familiarity with Google Suite.
• Comfort navigating Learning Management Systems (LMS).
