Lawyer (Corporate & Litigation)

About the role

New San Jose Builders, Inc. is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Lawyer to join its Legal Department in Quezon City. The role involves providing comprehensive legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting legal research, and representing the company in various legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of the Legal Department with research, case analysis, and factual investigations.
• Provide legal advice and support to all internal departments.
• Supervise and guide legal assistants in their daily tasks.
• Process, draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal opinions, and related documents.
• Collaborate with the corporate secretary on corporate documentation and record‑keeping.
• Handle active litigation cases, including civil, criminal, labour, and administrative matters.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other court filings; represent the company in hearings and mediations.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer capable of delivering legal advice across corporate, contractual, and litigation areas.
