L1 IT Support Engineer

About the role

The L1 IT Support Engineer will join a fast‑paced team in BGC, Taguig, providing first‑line technical assistance and supporting senior engineers in delivering reliable solutions. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals eager to develop hands‑on IT support skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with daily technical tasks and projects.
• Liaise with customers remotely via phone or video for help‑desk support.
• Troubleshoot basic system, application, and technical issues.
• Perform routine checks, documentation, and reporting.
• Follow established processes, standards, and technical guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members on assigned tasks.
• Learn and apply new tools, systems, and technologies used by the team.
• Provide timely updates and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain proper documentation of work performed and solutions applied.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in an MSP environment.
• Basic understanding of engineering or technical concepts.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced technical environment.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 Administration (Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business).
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) – user and license management.
• Basic security and compliance concepts.
• Customer service experience.
• Familiarity with operating systems, software applications and technical platforms.
• Documentation and ticketing proficiency.
