KYC and ESG Officer

About the role

The KYC and ESG Officer will lead the Know Your Customer (KYC) function for Global Banking, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards while supporting relationship managers with documentation and client onboarding. The role also drives sustainability initiatives in line with Group ESG policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual GB KYC review strategy, defining scope, targets, timelines and tracking productivity.
• Orchestrate end‑to‑end KYC processes, including new‑to‑bank, periodic and trigger reviews.
• Engage clients throughout the KYC journey to deliver a seamless experience and rapid readiness for transactions.
• Provide quality advice and documentation support to Relationship Managers across all lending units.
• Implement corporate sustainability initiatives and prepare required ESG reports for Global Banking.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties related to AML, financial crime prevention and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or related fields.
• 3–5 years of banking experience in Anti‑Money Laundering, financial crime prevention, or related regulatory functions.
• Strong understanding of local and international banking regulations and internal policies.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
