Key Accounts Officer

About the role

The Key Accounts Officer will manage relationships with Holcim's channel partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and driving sales growth across the assigned region. This role requires a deep understanding of partner dynamics, market conditions, and the ability to adapt channel structures when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business dynamics of channel partners, their target markets and Holcim's strategic goals.
• Create win‑win situations for partners and adjust channel structures diplomatically when required.
• Forecast sales volume, pricing and market share based on market conditions.
• Sell and distribute cement to the channel network to achieve volume and market share targets.
• Maintain account receivables, manage collateral collection, and process payments, including Customer Withholding Taxes and credit memos.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with channel customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Implement and advise on marketing incentives, recommending needed initiatives for the area.
• Handle the P&L for the assigned region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, any Engineering discipline, or Business.
• Minimum three years of sales experience in building materials or FMCG.
• Experience in retail sales, solution selling, value creation, and working with government units or private contractors.
• Valid Non‑Professional Driver’s License.
