K-10 Teacher for Math, English, Science & More (Philippines)

About the role

Join a dedicated teaching team at Project: Pag-asa to educate and support children from local homes across kindergarten to grade 10. You will deliver lessons in English (and occasionally Tagalog) while fostering a trauma‑sensitive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute curriculum‑aligned lessons for subjects such as Math, English, Science, Filipino, History, PE, Art, and Music.
• Collaborate closely with a lead teacher and other staff members.
• Develop an understanding of trauma and apply trauma‑sensitive teaching practices.
• Support students with high learning needs and provide individualized assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in education.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow leadership.
• Personal relationship with God and desire for spiritual growth.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to challenging situations, and handle personal trauma triggers.
• Experience working with children of various ages.
• Comfortable using public transportation.
• Commitment to at least one school year.
• Fluency in English; Tagalog is a plus but not required.
